2014 Team

Diane Hatz, a TEDster and nationally-recognized sustainable food advocate, is the main organizer and host of TEDxManhattan.  She recently launched her new program – Change Food. She was the Co-Founder of The Glynwood Institute for Sustainable Food and Farming, as well as the founder of Sustainable Table, Executive Producer of The Meatrix movies and co-founder of The Eat Well Guide.  She is passionate about bringing together the TED and sustainable food communities and devotes her time to using her marketing skills to help shift the U.S. to a regional sustainable food system where healthy nutritious food is accessible to all.

This year we’ve put together an Advisory Committee to help with speaker selection, outreach and other associated responsibilities with TEDxManhattan. The Committee includes:

Adam Block – PRINT restaurant
Scott Cullen – GRACE Communications Foundation
Danielle Gould – Food & Tech Connect
Diane Hatz – Change Food
Wenonah Hauter – Food & Water Watch
Ken Kaplan – MIT
Robert Martin – Center for a Livable Future
Urvashi Rangan – Consumers Union
LaDonna Redmond – The Campaign for Food Justice
Pam Weisz – Change Food

Many thanks to everyone who helped put the TEDxManhattan event together, including everyone who gave suggestions and ideas for speakers, venues, etc.
